Investment dream becomes a reality
Dream Incubator Asia Industrial Fund has announced its first investment in Vietnam through acquiring a 25 per cent stake in local milk producer Nutifood.
Nutifood is among the leading milk producers in Vietnam with a nationwide distribution network. The company earned a revenue of VND870 billion ($42 million) last year and posted a growth pace of 70 per cent of revenue in three consecutive years.
The investment deal was made nearly after a year the fund (DIAIF) has been operating in Vietnam with the capital of $60 million and plans to make its second investment this year. The fund’s founders are Dream Incubator Inc. and ORIX Corporation in the Cayman Islands.
DIAIF will support Nutifood in doing business through connecting it to potential partners.
