Hoi An-Japan exchange not to be missed
Hoi An-Japan cultural exchange program will be held in Hoi An ancient town from August 24 to 26 with the participation of Japanese artists including Tsuchie Kagura children’s art troupe, singer Yucca and artisan Wakayagi Kissyo.
The event features street performances, community exchange programs, a photo exhibition on ten years of cooperation between Hoi An and Japan, Haiku poems, calligraphy and a display of craft products.
The event, in the central province of Quang Nam, is organized by the authority of Quang Nam Province, the Embassy of Japan, Japan Foundation Center for Cultural Exchange in Vietnam and the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA).
The Embassy of Vietnam in Japan will host Vietnam Festival 2012 from September 15-16 at Yoyogi Park in Tokyo. Apart from music performances, there is a Meet Vietnam area representing traditional food and handicraft products.
