The move is compliant with the schedule of Canada-based project developer Asian Coast Development Limited (ACDL) set at the beginning of the year, according to Ba Ria-Vung Tau province’s Department of Planning and Investment.
Accordingly, the first phase of construction will cost an estimated $165 million and include a 19-storey, 541-room five-star hotel, a restaurant area, low-voltage station areas, a wastewater treatment area, and a golf club which is expected to completed and put into business in October, 2012.
The project developer had attributed the project’s delay to the 2009 global economic recession.
Ho Tram Strip is a five-star standard integrated resort project with a total registered capital of $4.2 billion on a total area of 162ha in Xuyen Moc district’s Phuoc Thuan commune in southern Ba Ria-Vung Tau province. The six-phase project will finish construction and come online by 2020.
