Helicopter lifts NVH

The Vietnam Aircraft Leasing Company has handed over an EC-155B1 helicopter to Northern Vietnam Helicopter Company.

The EC-155B1 is a long-range civil helicopter developed by Eurocopter factory, the most modern in Vietnam. Vietnam Aircraft Leasing Company (VALC) general manager Tran Long said: “Apart from the company’s major business lines of leasing civil aircraft, it is the first time that VALC has extended business lines to leasing helicopters”.

Experts identified that the cooperation between VALC and the Northern Vietnam Helicopter Company (VNH) was an important milestone in the field of civil aviation in Vietnam, creating the development of helicopter transport market and meeting the increasing need of passengers.

EC-155B1 helicopter is the first helicopter VALC has leased to meet the rising demand of the domestic market. The company had previously leased airplanes including Airbus A321-200 and ATR72-500 planes.
