This is the first mini-apartment project to be launched in Ho Chi Minh City since the introduction of the Decree 71/2010/ND-CP that allows individuals to develop private apartments in existing residential areas came into force last October.

The min-condo enjoys a propitious position when it sits on Cong Hoa road in Ho Chi Minh City’s Tan Binh district, opposite the Etown complex and nearby Nhat Chi Mai marketplace.

Doan Chi Thanh, general director of Hoang Anh Saigon Company Limited - which has been selected as the project’s distributor, said the apartment costs an estimated VND19 million ($917) per square metre, or VND855 million ($41,304) per 45sqm unit, inclusive of tax and interior furnishing.

Prospective buyers are reportedly given stylish Piaggio Liberty scooters and have a chance to partake in a lucky draw to win Ford Focus vehicles.

Vina Complex Company Limited said it would continue to develop three more mini condo projects in Ho Chi Minh City.
