40 members of Adidas Runners Saigon (ARS) on December 2 attended the Ho Chi Minh City International Marathon Techcombank 2018. This is the debut of ARS, Adidas’ international running organisation since its launch in November.

The programme was attended by well-known local faces, including Diem My (actress), Thuc Linh Lincoln (actor), Mau Thanh Thuy (model), and others. The Marathon offered three distances, including the 42 km full-marathon, the 21 km half-marathon, and the 10km distance.

Tieu Phuong and Nguyet Do, ARS’ members and trainers, finished second and third in the marathon.

Thanks to their thorough preparation and knowledge on jogging, diet, warm-up exercises, and breathing and running skills picked up over the last month, the members easily overcame their respective routes. With a love for jogging and the spirit of keep going forward, ARS’ members relished the challenge of the marathon to test and push their limits.

ARS runners were accompanied by a large group of supporters to cheer them and other athletes on, inspiring them to overcome their perceived limits and discover new horizons.
