The co-operation between adidas and the International Space Station (ISS) marks a breakthrough milestone for adidas to create blockbuster running shoes which are super soft and light, much like the microgravity shoes of astronauts.
On November 5, adidas and the ISS will announce the co-operation and share their achievements in the microgravity sector with each other to create running shoes which can help to runners feel lighter.
ISS is the US' national laboratory since 2005 specialising in life sciences, physical sciences, remote sensing, technological development, and education. While working tightly with NASA, it also conducts independent studies focusing on the meaningful uses of microgravity on Earth.
adidas has a consistent drive to create blockbuster running shoes that help athletes and runners break all limits by maximising their capacity to get the highest achievements. The co-operation of the two leading innovators of the world is expected to create a breakthrough for the sports industry.
Along with studying microgravity shoes with the most optimal technology, adidas also organises the onlytraining course for runners around the globe inspired by astronauts’ outer space experiences.
