ACDL appoints RLB as project manager for Ho Tram, phase 1

Importantly, it has proven expertise in the successful construction of large scale integrated resorts both in Macau and in Singapore,” said Asian Coast Development (Canada) Limited CEO, Lloyd Nathan.

RLB will be the quantity surveyors and joint project managers for phase 1 of the Ho Tram Strip. The company is a global consulting service with extensive experience in development and construction in Vietnam as well as worldwide.

In Asia, RLB has worked on some of the region’s most iconic commercial, retail, and hospitality projects, including Hong Kong’s International Finance Centre and Singapore's Raffles City.  In Vietnam, it has notably been involved in quantity surveying for the Sheraton Saigon Hotel and Towers, Vietcombank Tower and the fast-developing Times Square project on Ho Chi Minh City's Dong Khoi Street. The MGM Grand Ho Tram – scheduled for opening in the first quarter of 2013 – will include a five star hotel, initially 541 rooms expanding to 1,100, a 13,600 square metre entertainment area, retail, restaurants, bars, lounges, shows, conference and meeting areas, a golf course, and other leisure amenities, representing the first Las Vegas-style integrated resort development in Vietnam.  In its entirety, the Ho Tram Strip represents a $4.2 billion undertaking that covers 164 hectares of a prime beach-front location in Ba Ria Vung Tau.
