61,000 new business registrations recorded
The MPI’s Business Development Agency said 6,700 businesses had registered for establishment in September, 2010 alone with a total investment of VND48.5 trillion ($2.48 billion).

It brought the country’s total newly registered businesses to 61,000 capitalised at more than VND418 trillion in the year to date, a jump of 28 per cent on-year.
Corresponding figures for the whole year will be around 85,000 businesses valued at around VND500 trillion.
Greater sized businesses are registered at more than VND6 billion (over $300,000)/unit, up 125 per cent compared to in 2009.
