Vietnamobile hands out prize

Vietnamobile, a mobile network operator ran by Hanoi Telecom and Hongkong-based Hutchison Telecom International, just held the lucky draw programme and made public the Super Giant Dragon prize winner.

It is worth two taels of gold in the Year of the Dragon “Win Golden Dragon with Vietnamobile” promotion. The two-month promotion ends in a quite an impressive way with the participants mounting up to a whopping 73 million, a record for the number of participants in Vietnamobile’s promotion programmes thus far, according to a Vietnamobile recent statement.

To date, prizes worth up to VND1 billion ($47,600) in value have been handed over to lucky winners, including a special prize of two gold taels Super Dragon (VND100 million or $4,700), 9 gold taels Mega Dragons (VND50 million each or $2,380)), 135 hyper-fast 3G USBs worth over VND1 million ($47) each and more than VND300 million for 6,525 other prizes worth VND50,000 or $2.3 each in top-up cards.

“This year special Tet promotion ‘Win Golden Dragon with Vietnamobile’ met an unprecedented success among the customers. I am stunned by the massive and eager participation of the customers in the programme and 73 million participants are really an impressive figure,” said CEO Vietnamobile Elizabete Fong.
