Parkson’s Go Green changes the world by green style

Parkson Vietnam has launched the programme “Parkson Go Green 2011” which will run until May 7.

The chain of activities in this year with the theme “Change the world by green style” is officially started with simultaneous response to the Earth Hour event in seven shopping centers across the country on March 26th.

Immediately after this event, Parkson launched the competition “Green Fashion” to find the best designers in the fashion trend of friendly environment. The last point of this exciting chain is the programme “Go Bike – Cycling for the environment”, and cleaning the parks will be held at seven centres in Parkson Hanoi, Haiphong, and Ho Chi Minh City in April and May 2011.

Tham Tuck Choy, CEO of Parkson Vietnam, said “Parkson always desires to cement a permanently close-nit with Vietnamese customers. In order to gain it, aside for pioneering in bringing fashion trends and beauty of the world to Vietnam, Parkson also contributes incessantly to preserve the green environment in order to build a civilised citizen.”

Parkson has been in Vietnam since 2005 and has developed quickly with the system includes six high-level and pioneering shopping centres in big cities such as Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi, and Haiphong. The target of Parkson Vietnam is to become “The best retailing centre that the Vietnamese can be proud of.”
