IDP pioneers software for corporate governance

International Dairy Products JSC will be the first Vietnamese firm to implement SAP ERP on HANA, a leading system for corporate governance.

SAP ERP on HANA is an enterprise resource planning software from Germany, dedicated to providing firms with real-time data and synchronised information across all business units.

Part of the system is the Vistex pricing solution, which manages prices and sweepstake programmes for consumer goods firms.

“This software will enable International Dairy Products (IDP) to automate the data collection process and gain up-to-date information on business activities all over Vietnam. Speed and transparency are guaranteed,” stated SAP Vietnam project manager Nguyen Quang Khai.

CEO of IDP Tran Bao Minh commented that SAP ERP on HANA would eliminate issues relating to data overload, idiosyncrasies and errors.

“As a pioneer of adopting this software in Vietnam, we will gain a huge advantage in quicker and more transparent corporate governance. This is also an important part of our business strategy after receiving investment from VinaCapital and Daiwa PI Partners,” Minh said.

To execute the plan, IDP will collaborate with technology firms including SAP Vietnam, CSC Vietnam and HP Vietnam, which will upgrade IDP’s hardware for the system. The expected launching date is December 2015.
