Ho Chi Minh City’s first LEED certified-green office building will officially open to tenants in August.

The date was revealed by David Clarkin, general director of President Place Saigon Limited - developer of the $30 million grade A office building President Place at 93 Nguyen Du street.

Clarkin  said that besides LEED, which is recognised as an international environmental design standard, the 13-storey and three basements development with a total gross area of 11,500 square metres is also fully equipped and designed to meet TCVN and Building Code of Australia (BCA) health and safety standards.

“Environmentally-friendly developments are emerging all over the world. At President Place we focus on sustainability matters like efficient natural air flow, efficient air conditioning system, natural light, water saving, locally soured construction materials, among others.

“We have complemented our technology and design leadership with in-depth research into the evolving consumer needs. We will embed ourselves into the latest consumer trends and preferences todeliver innovative developments,” added Clarkin.

Despite its charms, President Place SJC rents range from $35 per sqm per month.

“With the attractive rents, prime location and unique design, I hope that the development will soon be filled up and become a spotlight in Ho Chi Minh City’s current gloomy office for lease market,” said Clarkin

President Place Saigon Ltd. is one of the member of Sakkara Asia Pacific Project Holdings and Investment Real Estate, which is developer of world-class residential, resort and commercial developments through Vietnam such CentrePoint, Sanctuary and City Garden.
