The workshop on English-learning strategies and cyber-etiquette was held at Gia Phu Secondary School in the northern province of Ninh Binh in August. The event was aimed at providing children with effective learning methods and educating them about network safety and was attended by mentors from The Dream School project, as well as several students from grades 6 to 8 at Gia Phu Secondary School.
Chau Anh, president of The Dream School, led a session on effective English learning strategies. Drawing from her own experiences and her journey to achieve high scores in international English exams, Chau Anh shared valuable tips with the students on mastering English proficiency. Her advice covered a range of topics, from effective vocabulary learning techniques to creating more informative mind maps.

Using vivid examples and engaging role-playing activities, Minh Bui guided students in understanding how to stay safe online and avoid cyberbullying.

Scholarships totalling VND50 million ($2,000) were awarded to 80 outstanding students from Ninh Binh to celebrate the start of the new school year, including 10 scholarships specifically for students from disadvantaged backgrounds.
