Symbolic Honda SH300i launched

Honda Vietnam today officially introduced the SH300i ABS imported from Italy, considered a global symbol, after displaying it for the first time at Vietnam Motorcycle Show in April 2016.

The model owns a powerful engine with impressive acceleration and fuel efficiency, an attractive European design thanks to sophisticated and eye-catching details, LED lighting system, pre-eminent utilities with SMART Key, standard 2-channel Anti-lock Brake System (ABS), and a 19-litre compartment box to hold a full-face helmet.

The imported SH300i ABS will be officially on sale from December 20, 2016, at the Honda Exclusive Authorized Dealer System, with the suggested price of VND248 million ($11,272)

Honda SH300i ABS boasts impressive design features and sophisticated details with its prominent chrome-plated lines which make the model look softer, while retaining its typical premium cut.

The first version equipped with a 300cc liquid-cooled SOHC 4-valve engine was introduced in 2007 in Italy. The model shows powerful character with the typical details of the SH line, revs an especially powerful 300cc engine a pleasing travelling companion both for daily commute and long trips. Since then, SH300 has gone through two significant overhauls in 2011 and 2015, gradually perfecting its premium appearance and bringing a more and more perfect riding experience.

Honda Vietnam also offers a 3-year/30,000 km warranty with six regular free-of-charge check-ups to ensure customers good quality and reliable products for their purchases.

According to Vietnam Engine & Agricultural Machinery (VEAM) Corporation, motorcycles continue to be the driving source of income for Honda Vietnam, accounting for 95 per cent of the company’s turnover.

Currently, Honda Vietnam controls more than 70 per cent of the domestic motorcycle market, with an ever-increasing sales volume of 1.91 million units in 2014 and 2.03 million in 2015.

Recognising signs of saturation in the Vietnamese motorcycle market, the company has maintained its position in the domestic arena, while at the same time started increasing exports to regional and global markets. Since starting production in 1997, Honda Vietnam has opened three factories in the country.
