Shinhan Life Vietnam concludes successful career programme for students

South Korean-backed insurer Shinhan Life Vietnam, in collaboration with Journey Career Education Guidance and Development Co., Ltd., also known as SIF Career, has successfully completed an orientation programme for high school students after nearly three months of implementation.

Launched in early March, the S-Career programme was rolled out at four high schools in Dong Thap and Ca Mau provinces in southern Vietnam.

The career guidance sessions attracted interest and active participation of students, teachers, and experts. The programme was brought to Nguyen Quang Dieu High School for the Gifted and Do Cong Tuong High School in Dong Thap province, as well as Ho Thi Ky High School and Hermann Gmeiner High School in Ca Mau province, benefiting nearly 1,400 students and over 150 teachers.

The initiative has contributed to providing students with more information, tools, and methods to make appropriate career choices, thereby improving work efficiency in the future and contributing to the overall sustainable development of society.

We are also particularly interested in community activities that invest in the development and education of children, the future of the country,” noted Bae Seung Jun, general director of Shinhan Life Vietnam.

Instead of providing career advice, S-Career offered methods, tools, and forms to equip high school students with useful knowledge to gradually discover their potential. From there, the students will make informed career choices themselves based on sufficient necessary information.

"This is the foundation for students to confidently plan their own feasible development paths and seek suitable career opportunities in the future, which is also the outstanding difference of the S-Career programme,” said Tran Thi Ngoc Thuy, director of SIF Career and the career guidance expert directly engaging in the programme.
