Born in 1964 in New Zealand, Chinn has earned a reputation as a chef, restaurateur, and cookbook author.

Chinn is also the presenter of the U.S. Discovery Network Travel and Living and Bobby Chinn Cooks Asia.

Chinn has been living in Vietnam since 1996.

The ministry has plans to pick tourism ambassadors for the key markets of America, Russia, and Australia.
