Nordic Hub aims to strengthen economic and cultural ties

The Sentry and Nordcham Vietnam have launched the Nordic Hub, the first flagship office for Nordcham’s members, signifying a significant step forward in strengthening the economic and cultural ties between Vietnam and the Nordic countries.

The office provides a multi-function venue with meeting rooms, working desks, and an auditorium to accommodate various events including seminars, conferences, team meetings, and other activities for the convenience of members and visitors alike.

The initiative speaks to the key role of Nordcham Vietnam in facilitating the Nordic business community. The past few years have witnessed impressive growth for Nordcham Vietnam, with an increase in small- and medium-sized enterprise membership of more than 60 per cent.

Many more Nordic companies have also expressed an interest in entering the Vietnamese market, creating a demand for a physical platform that can assist business operations and networking, which is precisely what Nordic Hub aims to fulfill.

The Sentry is located right in the heart of Ho Chi Minh City's District 1. Above all, it offers an experience that feels creative and innovative, reflecting Nordic business culture.

The Sentry is a flexible office space provider that houses over 70 startups and established firms from different sectors, including IT, finance, venture capital, and e-commerce. With three locations across Ho Chi Minh City, people can find Asia’s leading tech companies and venture capital firms in what many have deemed the Sand Hills Road of Silicon Valley.

Also in March, Nordcham’s 2023 meeting of its Board of Directors was successfully held and announced the appointment of Eva Maria Hansen from Lego Manufacturing Vietnam as the new chairwoman, succeeding Thue Quist Thomasen from Decision Lab.
