The zone, covering an area of 206,150 ha, is located on the districts of Moc Chau and Van Ho.
It is expected to receive more than 1.2 million tourists by 2020 and 3 million by 2030, of whom 50,000 are foreigners. It is hoped to generate a revenue VND1,500 billion by 2020 and VND6,000 billion by 2030.
The Moc Chau National Tourism Zone aims to attract tourists from the Red River Delta and the Northern midlands and mountainous region as well as foreigners from the West Europe, North America and Southeast Asia.
In the future, the zone will form three key tourism centers including Moc Chau convalescence center, Moc Chau entertainment center and Moc Chau ecological tourism center.
