On November 6, International SOS Vietnam sent an aid delegation to the central Ha Tinh province from its International SOS medical clinics in Ha Noi, Ho Chi Minh City, Vung Tau, as well as a chain of international health facilities from the provinces in Vietnam.

The move was in response to a call from the Fatherland Front of Vietnam and the Vietnamese General Confederation of Labor concerning the support of people in flooded areas in the central provinces.

Led by Ta Minh Long, International SOS CEO, the delegation provided medical examinations, medicine and free gifts to the Vietnamese mothers, affected families and children in Tan Loc commune, Loc Ha district, the most heavily flooded areas of Ha Tinh province.

In the spirit of sharing, all International SOS Vietnam employees have also offered donations, material support to the medical groups, donated medicines and gifts to over 600 people, valued at more than VND200 million ($10,000) to help the people in flooded areas improve their health conditions and more easily overcome the consequences from the flood and to better stabilise their lives.
