Chu Lai Nui Thanh environmental improvement project ratified
The PM has approved the Chu Lai Nui Thanh urban area environmental improvement project, which is funded by the German Government through an Official Development Assistance (ODA).

The long-term goal of the project is to develop the Chu Lai Open Economic Zone into an interdisciplinary economic zone and form a civilized and modern urban area, which gives priority to developing industries, services, tourism and commerce.
The short-term goal is to improve waste water treatment systems to treat 80% of waste water discharged by urban areas till 2020 as well as dealing with floods in the area.
With a total expenditure of €33.78 million, including €25 million from ODA and corresponding capital of €8.78 million, the project will be launched within four years from 2015-2019.
