Singapore lawyers in local link-up

This agreement will give RHTLaw Taylor Wessing access to 22 legal professionals in Vietnam.

With the new arrangement, PBC Partners will now be known as PBC Partners & RHTLaw. This comes four months after RHTLaw Taylor Wessing announced a tie-up with Indonesian law firm Hanafiah Ponggawa and Partners.

According to the company’s statement, the development is in line with RHTLaw Taylor Wessing’s strategy to grow its ASEAN+ legal practice throughout Asia that will see firms sharing knowledge, resources and best practice with clients across the region.

According to Azman Jaafar, head of RHTLaw Taylor Wessing’s Corporate Practice, the past year had been very eventful for the company.

“We have ventured into new markets in Asia and our partnership with PBC Partners and RHTLaw is one of the most significant and exciting since we embarked on our ASEAN+ drive. Our clients can now look forward to a more integrated team offering a wider range of services and industry specialisations across Asia. This adds tremendous value for our clients,” Jaafar said.
