LCT Lawyers honoured with prestigious award

Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City-based LCT Lawyers has been awarded the title of “Most Trusted Law Firm of the Year” by Lawyer’s World magazine for legal and advisory services in the banking and finance.

The firm’s legal eagles are building a growing international reputation

In the first half of 2012, the banking and finance practice group was featured in several major industry publications, including Legal 500, International Financial Law Review, and Chambers Asia.

For 2012, the United Kingdom-based publication Chambers Asia, which has been a leading regional directory of legal professionals for nearly two decades, ranked the firm’s corporate, M&A and dispute resolution practice groups second-tier, with banking and finance practice group in its third tier.

Legal 500, a leading legal market publication available in 100 jurisdictions worldwide, placed the firm’s Dispute Resolution and Tax groups ranked as second-tier, with banking and finance practice group in the publication’s third tier.

The financial and corporate law publication International Financial Law Review additionally ranked LCT Lawyers’ project finance subspecialty in its third tier for the jurisdiction. Additionally, this year the firm has been recommended by PLC Which Lawyer for Corporate/M&A in Vietnam, and as a leading tax firm in the British-based Tax Directors Handbook.

The law firm has also won the award “Employer of Choice” by Asian Leal Business, the two other winners being Vilaf which comes first and YKVN Lawyers coming third. This is the result of an online survey was conducted between February 28 and March 30, 2012.

Respondents were asked to anonymously rate their employers and provide feedback on key areas such as work-life balance, remuneration, promotion prospects and IT support.
