Victory Giant Technology to develop $400 million electronics components factory in Bac Ninh |
Speaking at the meeting in early August with Nguyen Anh Tuan, Secretary of Bac Ninh Party Committee, Chen Tao, chairman of Victory Giant Technology said that it was the delegation’s third visit to the province for an investment survey, expressing the company’s desire to invest in here.
He shared that once the factory was operational, its annual sales would reach approximately $1 billion.
According to Chen Tao, Victory Giant Technology specialises in research and development, production, and sales of high-precision printed circuit boards (PCB).
It ranks 21st in the world's top 100 PCB companies (Prismark) and fourth in the top 100 domestically funded companies in China's PCB industry.
After listening to investor opinions, Tuan has encouraged foreign businesses and investors to find long-term cooperation opportunities in this area through the Chinese company, simultaneously asking the investor to abide by Vietnamese laws and policies in the process of research, investment, and future operations and to ensure benefits for workers.
Tuan also assigned the Board of Directors of VSIP Bac Ninh Urban - Industrial Park to assist the company in learning the procedures and promoting investment in the province.
In the first seven months of this year, the province attracted 182 foreign-invested projects with the total newly registered capital of $769 million. In July only, the total newly registered capital for 43 projects was $198 million.
