Nestle’s online medical and nutrition library launched

Online Library of Nestle Nutrition Institute can be found at http://www.nestlenutrition-institute.org (English version) and some content is transferred into Vietnamese at http://www.nestlenutrition-institute.org/country/vn/Pages/default.aspx, in order to meet the needs updated medical information and nutrition scientists and health professionals. This is one of the few nutrition and science sites in Vietnam do not provide product’s information.

Nestlé Nutrition Institute (NNI) is a non-profit organisation based in Switzerland with expertise in nutrition. By sharing scientific information and science-based education for health professionals, scientists and community nutrition, Nestlé Nutrition Institute promotes "Science for a better nutritional background " to contribute to improve people quality of life. In addition, in order to reach out to the medical community around the world, the global site NNI is available in three languages: English, Spanish, Chinese and four mini-sites: Russia, Germany, India, Arab and NNI Vietnam is the fifth mini site. NNI Vietnamese website version will be updated by the resources of the NNI global website.

"With abundant information, regularly updated research and discoveries in the world, we hope that the NNI Vietnamese version website will be the trusted companion of Vietnamese scientific and medical professionals on the way to perform noble mission for the cause of public health care,” Erick Moreau, business director of Child Nutrition Division Nestlé Vietnam said.

Currently, Nestlé has the wide network of research and development in the food industry, including the Nestlé Research Center in Lausanne, Switzerland (with 300 doctors, scientists which is the world's largest private nutritional research center). Moreover, there are 25 product technology centres, research and development facilities around the world. Over 5,000 Nestlé nutritionists in collaboration with many research institutes in many countries actively work for nutritional science.
