NAB Innovation Centre Vietnam awarded for 'Corporate Excellence' at Asia Pacific Enterprise Awards 2024

This achievement follows its success in securing the ‘Fast Enterprise’ award in 2023. These accolades highlight the NAB Vietnam’s sustainable growth, as well as its efforts in creating an outstanding workplace culture, fostering collaboration, and delivering excellent experiences for NAB’s customers.

Organised by Enterprise Asia, the APEA is a premier regional awards programme acknowledging exceptional businesses and entrepreneurs across Asia.

It celebrates organisations that have demonstrated exemplary performance, innovation, and leadership in their respective industries.

The rigorous selection process involves a thorough evaluation by a panel of distinguished judges, making the APEA a highly sought-after accolade in the region.

NAB Vietnam has had a strong growth trajectory since being established in 2019.

The 2023 ‘Fast Enterprise’ award recognised NAB Vietnam’s agility in innovation, coupled with impressive expansion over a short period. NAB is now one of Australia’s largest private foreign investors in Vietnam.

This year, the ‘Corporate Excellence’ award acknowledges NAB Vietnam's continued progress and dedication to sustainable development, supporting the delivery of digital solutions to over 10 million NAB customers.

Since 2019, NAB Vietnam has rapidly grown into a key player in the country's digital economy, exceeding expectations with the workforce more than doubling in the past two years.

NAB has a strong learning and development culture through our Tech Academy, which is helping our people to continuously build new skills. NAB’s Tech Academy equips employees with cutting-edge tools and resources for growth. Employees benefit from top-tier learning platforms such as LinkedIn Learning, O'Reilly, AWS, Microsoft, and Udemy, alongside professional banking qualifications through the Career Qualified in Banking programme.

NAB Vietnam is also a champion of diversity and inclusion, with female representation at 27 per cent, more than double the tech industry average in Vietnam.

Beyond its internal efforts, NAB Vietnam actively contributes to the broader Vietnamese community through partnerships with NGOs and universities. This includes initiatives like their collaboration with the Gaia Nature Conservation Centre, where employees planted 500 mangrove trees at the Can Gio Mangrove Biosphere Reserve to help prevent erosion and protect local biodiversity.

Additionally, NAB Vietnam fosters IT career development through programmes like the NAB StarCamp and WeCamp programme, which has already benefited more than 200 students by providing valuable opportunities to gain experience and build their skills learning from NAB Vietnam’s technologists.
