Vietnam's education sector has been thriving. According to the British Weekly Economist, Vietnam's education spending amounts to $9 billion, a three-fold increase from 2010. In particular, international schools that teach in English are very popular.
According to a recent study, more than 85,000 foreign residents in Hanoi also have demand for international education, including residents of 110 different countries. To meet this demand, Vietnam is welcoming foreign co-operation and investment in the education sector, including the establishment of educational institutions and easing restrictions on Vietnamese student admissions.
