Chadwick graduates from the US and South Korea are consistently admitted into the world’s top universities, including Harvard, Princeton, Columbia, Stanford, Berkeley, and Cornell.

Digital Daesung, the other founding partners of The Chadwick International School Hanoi, was founded leveraging the educational prowess of Daesung Academy, which has a 55-year track record operating in Korea.

The step marks an important milestone in Ecopark’s journey towards becoming a knowledge-based community with a modern and world-class education system.

Daesung Academy is Korea's most prestigious college preparatory institution. Daesung’s students consistently ranked highest in Korea’s SAT exam each year for the past 10 years. As the only listed company in Daesung Education Group, Digital Daesung provides online and offline educational services.

It operates an online lecture site called Daesung MiMac that boasts annual members of about 280,000 students, a reading education brand Hanuri with annual members of about 100,000 students and many academies that offer various learning content to school students.

“We are not satisfied with the status-quo and have become the first Korean education company to enter the overseas markets through this international school project,” said a representative for Digital Daesung.

“Through the collaboration with Ecopark Corporation, a leading real estate development company in Vietnam, Chadwick, a prestigious private education brand, and Daesung, a long-standing investor in education in Korea, will establish this international school together to provide exciting new academic opportunities to Vietnamese students.”

“Ecopark is home to a host of reputable schools including Doan Thi Diem Greenfield School, Edison School, British University Vietnam, Tokyo Human Health Sciences University Vietnam, and the award winning Els Performance Golf Academy,” said Nguyen Dung Minh, deputy general director of Ecopark Corporation.

“These strategic co-operation agreements with leading educational brands from Korea and the US reinforce Ecopark’s long-term strategic vision of providing market-leading educational opportunities in Ecopark Corporation’s communities,” Minh noted.

The continued co-operation with global leaders in the education sector is part of Ecopark’s broad investment strategy for future generations. With the rapid development of new projects, Ecopark is expected to meet the housing demand of over 150,000 residents, most of whom are families looking to give their children a word-class education from preschool to university.

Slated to open in 2022, the state-of-the-art international school developed by Ecopark Corporation in collaboration with Digital Daesung and under the Chadwick International School management will contribute to diversifying the education system at all levels to ensure that the educational facilities in the township and neighboring areas will meet the needs of all of Ecopark’s residents.

Vietnam's education sector has been thriving. According to the British Weekly Economist, Vietnam's education spending amounts to $9 billion, a three-fold increase from 2010. In particular, international schools that teach in English are very popular.

According to a recent study, more than 85,000 foreign residents in Hanoi also have demand for international education, including residents of 110 different countries. To meet this demand, Vietnam is welcoming foreign co-operation and investment in the education sector, including the establishment of educational institutions and easing restrictions on Vietnamese student admissions.
