Vietnam’s Elite Cyclists Korea-Bound

The Vietnam Sports Administration (VSA), the Korean Sports Promotion Foundation (KSPO), and the National Sports Complex (NSC) in cooperation with Vietnam Sports Platform (VSP) have jointly arranged for a group of top Vietnamese cyclists to train in Korea.

The first group of two cyclists and one coach will train with the Korean national cycling team for two months at the KSPO Cycle Training Center and Yang Yang Velodrome in Korea.

The training course expenses total about VND321 million ($15,300) and are fully sponsored by the Korean Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, KSPO, VSP, the Korean Olympic Committee and the Korean Cycling Federation.

The training course is intended to develop the athlete pool for Vietnam in preparation for the   ASIAD Games in 2014 in Incheon, Korea and the 18th ASIAD Games in Hanoi in 2019.
