Promoting collaboration in technology transfer and innovation across Vietnam was a highlight of the Techconnect and Innovation Vietnam 2024 forum.

Techconnect and Innovation Vietnam 2024 provided a comprehensive review of technology application, transfer, development, and innovation in various localities. It also showcased cutting-edge technologies applied both in Vietnam and internationally.

Held from September 30 to October 1, the event marked the 65th anniversary of the Ministry of Science and Technology (1959-2024) and the 70th anniversary of Hanoi's liberation (October 10, 1954-2024). It was jointly organised by the Ministry of Science and Technology (MoST) and Hanoi People's Committee.

In a panel discussion focused on innovation's role in business, issues on state management of innovation activities were addressed. This forum facilitated dialogue between managers, researchers, investors, and businesses, aiming to support Hanoi-based companies in effectively implementing technology transfer and innovation.

The event featured 200 booths showcasing technologies from 163 corporations, pioneering tech companies, scientific organisations, research institutes, and leading universities from Hanoi and nationwide. The exhibits spanned agriculture, industry, healthcare, and construction.

With nearly 100 notable technological achievements on display, the event drew approximately 4,000 in-person and online visitors.

Additionally, several significant agreements on technology transfer and innovation between organisations and businesses from Vietnam and countries including South Korea and Spain in industry, agriculture, and digital transformation were also signed at the event.
