Vietnam announces new digital platform Viettel Cyberbot

The Ministry of Information and Communications on September 25 announced the launch of the Vietnamese virtual assistant platform Viettel Cyberbot, aiming to help businesses automate processes of taking care of clients.

Viettel Cyberbot enables businesses to build automatic switchboards for communications with clients via messages (Chatbot) or by voice (Callbot).

Viettel Cyberbot applies AI technology to help businesses understand clients' needs and intentions while automatically and continuously upgrading the switchboard based on these interactions.

Viettel Cyberbot is capable of handling written communications to a credible and satisfactory degree, while Callbot gives a satisfactory imitation of human voice and cadence 95 per cent of the time.

At present, Viettel Cyberboot helps businesses optimise up to 40 per cent of the resources used for client interactions while helping improve customer experience and satisfaction levels.

The launch of Viettel Cyberbot is one of a number of events to introduce “make-in-Vietnam” platforms as part of the implementation off the national digital transformation programme by 2025, with a vision toward 2030 which has been approved by the prime minister.
