Two mega shows, which are taking place in Ho Chi Minh City, are opening opportunities for foreign brands to penetrate the Vietnamese market.

The 18th International Precision Engineering, Machine Tools, and Metalworking Exhibition & Conference (MTA Vietnam) and the ninth International Plastics & Rubber Technologies and Materials Exhibition Vietnam (Plastics & Rubber Vietnam) are taking place between July 6 and 9 at the Saigon Exhibition & Conference Center in Ho Chi Minh City.

BT Tee, general manager of Informa Market Vietnam said, “Both MTA Vietnam and Plastics & Rubber Vietnam hope to offer visitors valuable experience to explore the most innovative techniques and latest engineering solutions for the manufacturing, plastic, and rubber industry in Ho Chi Minh City and Binh Duong, Long Thanh, Dong Nai, Ben Nghe, and beyond.”

He added that the combined exhibitions offer opportunities for manufacturers to source new products and technologies and also act as a catalyser for the industry to reconnect, learn, and forge new links with both international and local entities present at the event.

MTA Vietnam 2022 features 250 exhibiting companies coming from 12 countries and regions like Germany, the United States, the United Kingdom, Japan, South Korea, Sweden, Switzerland, and China, among others.

Presented by the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy in cooperation with the Association of the German Trade Fair Industry, Germany occupies the biggest pavilion with 12 well-established companies.

South Korea contributes the highest number of participants with 34 companies showcasing their products.

Taiwan's pavilion is presented by the Taiwan External Trade Development Council, also bringing five highlighted booths.

Meanwhile, Plastics & Rubber Vietnam 2022 welcomes over 100 well-established companies. Participating in the exhibition’s activities is a great opportunity to reinforce the international economic integration for enterprises since 85 per cent of exhibitors are international brands from 15 foreign countries.

Gernot Ringling, managing director of Messe Düsseldorf Asia shared, “For the last decade, Plastics & Rubber Vietnam has grown from strength to strength and carved a foothold as Vietnam’s specialist platform for the plastics and rubber manufacturing technology.”
