Tra fish listed as green foodstuff by WWF Sweden
The WWF Sweden has included Vietnamese tra fish (pangasius) on the green list of healthy seafood in their Fish Guides, announced the Vietnamese Association of Seafood Exporters and Producers.
The Guides advise consumers to enjoy seafood which is raised in a sustainable development environment in line with international standards, and avoid specific kinds of seafood.
WWF Sweden has received information about Viet Nam having 10 pct of tra products awarded ASC certificates in 2012. The target set for 2015 is 50 pct.
