PepsiCo inaugurates sixth beverage plant in Dong Nai Province

PepsiCo, the world’s second-largest food and beverage business, March 14 officially inaugurated a new beverage plant at Long Binh Industrial Zone in the southern province of Dong Nai.

The plant will produce popular carbonated and non-carbonated PepsiCo beverages such as Pepsi, 7Up, Mirinda, Twister, Sting, Aquafina purified water. It has a land area of more than ten hectares and a capacity of 180,000 liter per year, making it one of the largest PepsiCo beverage plants in Vietnam.

This is the sixth plant of PepsiCo in the country, providing job opportunities for more than 2,000 direct labors and thousands of indirect labors.

As part of the ceremony, PepsiCo Vietnam also granted VND500 million ($24,000) to Dong Nai community.

Over the last 3 years, the company has offered billions of Vietnam dong for philanthropy, including building houses for the poor and supporting minority ethnic groups.
