Co-organised by the hotel, founder of Hope Centre Dr. Do Thuy Nga, and artist Dinh Cong Dat, the aim of the exhibition is to spread the artistic soul of autistic children and inspire them by bringing their voice to the community.
The exhibition Heart For Autism will be held from June 2-4 at Pan Pacific Hanoi |
Children with autism may have difficulty developing language skills, so singing and drawing are effective ways to communicate their thoughts and reveal their inner world to others. With the motivation to bring happiness to these young people, Dr. Nga has organised many special painting classes for them, which have received high praise from other organisations and individuals.
Throughout the exhibition, visitors will discover the colourful yet often hidden world of children with autism and their deep sense of creativity and imagination when perceiving the world around them.
Heart for Autism is not only a fundraising event, but also an opportunity to call for attentiveness in the community towards autistic children's spiritual lives and to create a sustainable future for them.
Pan Pacific Hanoi's general manager Christoph Marcel Strahm said, "Corporate social responsibility has always been an essential aspect of Pan Pacific Hanoi. We have consistently dedicated an immense amount of time and resources to developing in this area since our very first day of operation. We would like to raise public awareness of autism and spread love and sympathy to children with the condition in general and to students at the Hope Center in particular. The event also demonstrates our hotel's long-term commitment to sustainability and improving wellbeing in society."
Playing an important role in the event, artist Dinh Cong Dat, who is known for his unique artworks such as Buddha statues, lacquered ants, and more, is now becoming a regular guest at the Hope Centre.
As a teacher who has had a lot of experience organising classes for children at the Hope Center, he shared, "Through the exhibition, I hope people can see the paintings from the autistic children's perspective and open their hearts to enjoy the artworks."
To raise funds and call for community support for autistic children, the exhibition will display four artworks of flowers on do paper by artist Dinh Cong Dat and one of a cat on a lacquer plate by artist Dinh Quan. Furthermore, the opening of the fund-raising event on June 2 will also feature the presence of the young pianist Tran Khoi Viet.
After the event, the exhibition will open for free for visitors from 7am to 10pm at Song Hong Bar on the Lobby Level at Pan Pacific Hanoi.
