MediHub’s ecosystem starts with educational media channels where people can find trusted healthcare information and engage with healthcare providers via the MediHub.vn social network. While waiting at the hospitals and clinics, people can watch the educational health content on MediHub TV, access healthcare information, and surf the internet via high-speed M-WiFi. To help people understand financial support solutions in case of serious illness or accident, MediHub partnered with Generali (the biggest life insurance corporation in Europe) to provide MedInslife insurance consultants available for on-site advice to patients.
As of now, these integrated media channels are unique in Vietnam and may reach more than 3.5 million people per month. According to the survey of Nielsen Vietnam, over 90 per cent of respondents were aware of MediHub TV at hospitals; 88 per cent of respondents thought the information provided by MediHub TV was useful and would apply for themselves and their relatives.

For healthcare professionals, MediHub has built up to two mobile applications (MDCom for physicians and PharmaCom for pharmacists) to create an online specialist community for medical knowledge and experience sharing. MediHub also provides continuing medical and pharmaceutical education in co-operation with medical universities and associations and publishes updated medical information. These mobile applications are pioneering initiatives in Vietnam and the activities will help improve treatment efficiency at hospitals, clinics, and pharmacies.
Meanwhile, the PharmaCom app has more than 7,000 pharmacists from almost 5,000 pharmacies as members and MDCom will hold the first online training course in January 2020 for 4,000 general practitioners on diabetes treatment and more than 1,000 members of the Stroke Association.

Indeed, the company has recorded a positive performance in the past few years. It estimates to achieve $2 million in revenue in 2019 with the compound annual growth rate of 650 per cent between 2016 and 2019.
Nguyen The Dinh, CEO of MediHub, told VIR, “We have just come back from the largest Health Tech Summit in Asia in November, which showed that the healthtech startup system in Southeast Asia is divided into 13 categories and we are confident that MediHub is a unique healthtech ecosystem not only in Vietnam but also in Southeast Asia.”

However, Dinh added that the report also showed that Vietnam still has the lowest share of the investment in the healthtech ecosystem in Asia. Thus, with the fast growth of the country's economy, the mobile and internet usage of Vietnamese people, he believes that the healthtech market in Vietnam will be very promising in the next three years. MediHub is currently preparing for the Series A round to call for $2 million to expand its media channels across the hundred top hospitals, clinics, and build PharmaCom and MDCom into the largest healthcare specialist communities in Vietnam.
