Visa, a global payment technology company, has recently honoured the Investigative Police General Department of Vietnam with a Law Enforcement award.

The Investigative Police General Department of Vietnam won the award for its outstanding efforts in the fight against payment crimes in Vietnam.

“I would like to congratulate the Investigative Police General Department of Vietnam for winning the award at this year’s Visa Security Summit. The Investigative Police General Department of Vietnam has demonstrated a clear commitment to keeping payments safe for consumers,” said Sean Preston, country manager for Vietnam, Cambodia and Laos at Visa.

“Visa believes security is a shared responsibility and works hand-in-hand with the entire payment community in Vietnam to protect the payment ecosystem against potential attacks. We hope that this recognition will encourage the financial services industry to work with Visa and law enforcement agencies to better secure the future of payment,” Preston added.

The 2015 Visa Security Summit marks the event’s eleventh year, bringing together security professionals from financial institutions, industry service providers, partners, regulators and law enforcement agencies from around the world.
