Ho Chi Minh City prevents people from going outside without proper reason
Ho Chi Minh City has been mobilising all relevant forces to prevent residents from leaving their houses without appropriate reasons in order to prevent the spread of the pandemic and protect people's lives.
Today is the fourth day the city has its social distancing measures active, which are deemed the highest level of social distancing applied in Vietnam.
Accordingly, the city does not allow gatherings of more than two people in public and asks everyone to only leave their homes for emergencies and to purchase food and medicine. However, there are several cases of people violating these regulations in the midst of the pandemic.
