Cathay Pacific Airways launched Green Explorer Programme

With the purpose of rasing awareness for people, especially the young in environment preservation, Cathay Pacific Airways has launched the programme “Green Explorer” in Hong Kong and Szechuan (China) targeting young people at the age of 16 to 18.

The programme has connected 42 green explorers together from 10 countries over the world, who have a chance to return to the nature, learn how to preserve Panda in Szechuan and exchange together global issue on environment.

As representative of Vietnam taking part in the journey, Ho Minh Quan (from Bui Thi Xuan High School in Ho Chi Minh City) shared his feeling: “When we are making the vow of Green Explorer, we all feel something really strange.

That is our responsibility for community. During the short time we are together in exploring days, I can see their enthusiasm and love to preserve the green Earth” Cathay’s programme is not only aimed to educate the young on environment, but it is also sustainable development commitment and responsibility for community of the airline that is always in the top 5 biggest players in the world.
