Amata City Halong welcomes new Japanese investor

Tenma Group has decided to invest $56 million in Amata City, Ha Long, marking the group's first project in Quang Ninh, a province along Vietnam’s northeastern coast.

On June 25, Nguyen Van Nhan, general director of Amata City Halong JSC, and Kawamitsu Yasuhiro, director of Tenma Vietnam Co., Ltd, signed a land use right sublease agreement at Amata City Halong JSC office for an 8 hectare space in Amata City Halong (also known as Song Khoai Industrial Park) in Quang Yen town to implement a project on manufacturing industrial plastic molding products, assembly and die casting. The project has a total investment value at $56 million.

With its extensive business experience in Vietnam and following a meticulous selection process, Tenma Group has decided to invest in Amata City Halong IP in Quang Ninh province. This marks Tenma's first project in the province and its fourth in Vietnam.

The Tenma factory in Quang Ninh is expected to finish construction, equipment installation, recruitment and testing in the first quarter of 2025.

The signing ceremony marked an important step forward in the cooperative relationship between the two firms and also demonstrated the appeal of Amata City Halong IP to foreign investors.

With its strategic location, attractive economic zone tax incentives and land readiness, Amata City Halong is proud to be a rapidly growing IP in Quang Ninh province.

Up to now, 18 investment projects with a total capital touching $2.6 billion have been granted investment registration certificates at Amata City Halong.

In the forthcoming time, Amata City Halong aims to draw in more multinationals, contributing to promoting FDI attraction to Quang Ninh province.
