“Moc Huong’s products must make customers feel the typical fragrance of their homeland,” Hoang Huyen, founder and CEO of Moc Huong, shared with a strong determination.

Huyen recalls the difficult start-up time eight years ago. All she had were the memories of her childhood and an ambition to reaffirm the belief in "Made in Vietnam" cosmetics.
At that time, when it came to cosmetics made in Vietnam, people were often afraid and wary because they thought of mixed cream, which is an accelerated whitening and beautifying cream but contains harmful chemicals.
Many women are willing to spend a large amount of money to buy branded cosmetics from around the world rather than trust any domestic brands. It is a huge challenge for anyone who wants to launch a domestic cosmetics brand with an international stature.
However, it was those difficulties that inspired and aroused Huyen’s burning dream to prove to everyone that Vietnamese products are absolutely worthy.
Her business’ goal is not to make money. She shared, “We only live once and I want to live a meaningful and happy life. Why don’t we use ingredients and scents from our homeland, which are the closest things to us that sincerely touch the most heartfelt feelings in each and every moment?"

Until now, people only knew about fragrances with strong emotional influences. In this case, the scents of daily skincare and body care products such as facial cleansers, shower gels, and balms simply create a pleasant feeling for customers.
Moc Huong chooses a different path. Each Moc Huong product uses aromatherapy from natural essential oils, not only bringing relaxation but also touching emotions and feelings and improving consumer health when used regularly.
Aromatherapy is a treatment that uses natural essential oils to develop a healthy mind, body, and spirit. For many years, aromatherapy has been applied a lot in Vietnamese spas, wellness centres, and therapy rooms.
However, Huyen also shared that not every essential oil is therapeutic, and not every product containing essential oils is called aromatherapy. It must be real, pure essential oil, without any spices or aromafix.
The herbal scents in Moc Huong’s products are very familiar but rare in modern life such as scents from old coriander, holy basil, perilla, eucalyptus, and citrus, giving customers a familiar feeling like holding herb leaves in hand or playing in the middle of a garden full of fragrant plants.
Huyen added, “In order to do that, these scents must remain intact, fresh, and true. It sounds simple, but it is a long process to explore and research that requires the experience and sensitivity of the whole team. At the same time, it also depends on the investment in really quality ingredients.”
This is one of the special points that allow Moc Huong to always stand out, even though there are many different large and small cosmetic brands on the market. Moc Huong is pioneering to become a traditional cosmetics brand that is loved by Vietnamese people and missed by foreign customers.
