The American company aims to boost the efficiency of its account representatives via a user-friendly interface, seamless data integration across systems and a set of tools that will cover end-to-end sales and agency recruitment needs.
Enabled to run on iOS by Apple Inc., the ACE eSMART tools include a financial needs’ analysis instrument for the insurer’s account representatives to evaluate the needs and circumstances of their customers in order to recommend suitable products for them.
Lam Hai Tuan, chairman and country president of ACE Life Vietnam, said the solution was first for account representatives having iPhones or iPads, and those using Android (Samsung smart phones and tablets) later.
Through the solution, ACE Life became the first life insurance company in Vietnam to offer a mobile payment option for its customers to make premium payments instantly using their local ATM cards.
With eSMART in place, the firm’s account representatives will in the future be able to provide their customers with the Bare and Basic Quotations of products, access the customer database, and execute a broad spectrum of post-sales activities.
Tuan said, “ACE eSMART has revolutionised the way ACE Life Vietnam’s account representatives conduct their business.
“The advent of ACE eSMART has also positioned ACE Life as the first life insurer in Vietnam to employ such an innovative technology to streamline the financial advisory process and reduce paperwork. Apart from contributing to environmental protection, ACE eSMART helps our business to achieve operational and cost efficiencies,” he added.
Following its launch in Vietnam, the solution will be made available to agents in Thailand, another market of the ACE Life franchise in Asia Pacific.
ACE Life Vietnam started operations in 2005 with the introduction of the Universal Life plan to the domestic market.
