World football stars to visit Vietnam

Two world-known footballers - Ruud van Nistelrooy (the Netherlands) and Robert Pires (France) – will tour Vietnam in April to showcase the Trophy Cup of UEFA Champions League 2014.

Under the sponsorship of a beer brand name, the former MU player Ruud van Nistelrooy and Robert Pires of Arsenal FC will visit Ho Chi Minh City on April 3 and hold an exchange programme with local fans.

On April 4, Vietnamese football-lovers will have a chance to join an exchange with the two stars through a TV live broadcast from four big cities – HCM City, Danang, Nha Trang and Can Tho.

On April 6, Nistelrooy and Pires will fly to Hanoi for an exchange programme before leaving Vietnam for similar events in Argentina and Nigeria.

Participants to the exchange programmes will have an opportunity to win 10 free tickets to watch the final matches of UEFA Champions League 2014 in Lisbon, Portugal, and 14 free tickets to a world leading football festival in Ibiza, Spain.

Robert Pires’ career has a close link to Arsenal FC which won UK Champion League twice and secured third place at FA Cup.

Ruud van Nistelrooy is the second player in UEFA Champions League history to score the most goals.
