Hanoi will put into operation two additional tramcar routes to take tourists to more streets with French architecture.

Accordingly, two routes include Restored Sword Lake-Hang Bong-Le Duan-Tran Hung Dao-Quan Su-Ly Thuong Kiet-Hai Ba Trung-Hanoi Opera House-Restored Sword Lake and Restored Sword Lake-Nguyen Du-Yet Kieu-Tran Hung Dao-Quan Su-Ly Thuong Kiet-Hai Ba Trung-Hanoi Opera House-Restored Sword Lake.

Travelling on these routes, visitors will have a chance to explore the old quarters’ cultural, historical and architectural values in famous spots, namely Hang Co train station, Quan Su Pagoda, Hoa Lo and Hanoi Opera House.

These routes, around 10 km long, will take about 1 hour to travel. 20 more tramcars will be put into service on these routes later this year, after some time for trial operation.
