Sony launches new high-tech earbuds in Vietnam

Sony's reputation for top-tier noise cancellation, a hallmark of the 1000X series, and immersive sound promises to deliver a deeper connection for listeners to their music, and the company's acumen in music ensures high-quality listening, with advanced technology delivering a robust, clear, and broad-spectrum sound.

The driver unit of the WF-1000XM5 earbuds, the Dynamic Driver X, incorporates real-time audio processors and powerful microphones, allowing for detailed frequency reproduction, resonant bass, and pristine vocals.

Each earbud houses three microphones, inclusive of dual feedback microphones on each side to boost noise cancellation performance, particularly at low frequencies. This advancement signifies Sony's most significant stride in noise cancellation technology, leading to an accurate portrayal of ambient sound.

Sony's unique Integrated Processor V2, a fresh innovation, in conjunction with the HD noise-cancelling processor QN2e, paves the way for unparalleled noise cancellation. It governs the six microphones distributed across both earbuds, thus adjusting the performance based on the surrounding environment.

Sony's noise cancellation is further bolstered by the new Dynamic Driver X and noise isolation earbud tips. Made of polyurethane foam, the tips abate noise within the high-frequency range. This focus on sound frequency enriches the listener’s experience, producing high-quality sound that mimics studio-grade recordings.

Sony's new earbuds go beyond delivering noise-free listening. They have been designed to achieve impressive sound quality. The amalgamation of the QN2e processor and the integrated V2 processor fosters 24-bit audio processing and high-performance analogue amplification. The result is a low distortion, highly transparent audio reproduction.

The sound quality remains unrivalled with High-Resolution Audio Wireless, DSEE Extreme™, and 360 Reality Audio, adding to the WF-1000XM5's charm. The earbuds, approximately 25 per cent smaller and 20 per cent lighter than their predecessor, fit securely and comfortably. The noise isolation earbud tips are designed with a unique material and shape, reducing ear pressure and improving comfort.

The listening experience is further enhanced with 'autoplay', which customises music timing as per the listener's preference. The earbuds offer audio notifications and can be linked to Spotify, Endel, and Apple Music. They also support augmented reality games such as 'Ingress' from Niantic, providing immersive sound via head tracking technology.

The WF-1000XM5 incorporates popular Sony features like 'adaptive sound control', 'speak-to-chat', and 'multipoint connect', allowing you to pair two Bluetooth devices simultaneously. They also offer up to eight hours of battery life, with a quick three-minute charge providing up to 60 minutes of playtime. They are IPX4 rated for water resistance.

Reflecting an increasing corporate commitment to sustainability, the WF-1000XM5 incorporates recycled plastic. Sony has also innovatively used its proprietary 'Original Blended Material' for packaging.
