The seminar was held under the chairmanship of Le Thi Hoang Yen, the general director of Muong Thanh Group

The meeting was a timely response to restore Vietnam's tourism in the new normal.

Nguyen Trung Khanh, general director of Vietnam National Administration of Tourism, said that the tourism industry has been preparing to ensure that it is ready to reopen. Vietnam's tourism sector has successfully implemented strategies to restart tourism across the country from March 15.

Key markets that will be exploited include Northeast Asia, Southeast Asia, Europe, and Australia.

He said that Muong Thanh, as the largest private hotel chain in Vietnam, should take advantage of the benefits of using organic and environmentally-friendly products to both create supply and to promote itself to customers.

He also highlighted that Muong Thanh has developed two golf courses in recent years. In line with new trends, they will be used to create packages combining golf experiences with accommodation facilities to expand its customer market.

“In order to effectively adapt to the reopening of tourism, accommodation businesses like Muong Thanh need to cooperate with airlines to create service packages that will connect the market, ensuring that the safety aspects of pandemic prevention are applied in all establishments. Investment is needed to improve quality, develop new products and services, and upgrade infrastructures,” said Khanh.

He added that businesses must have policies to support and train staff, allowing them to develop professional skills. In conjunction with this, they need to improve the effectiveness of advertising to attract customers using a variety of methods.

Economic expert Luong Hoai Nam said that all tourism businesses need to allocate resources to deploy professional staycation products, and link with other tourism partners and service providers to build combination packages. These should be promoted on digital platforms using sales vouchers to reach more markets.

Le Quoc Vinh, chairman of the Board of Directors and general director of Le Media Group, advised businesses to invest in redesigning their brand strategy and build service packages to increase their customer experience.

Le Thi Hoang Yen, general director of Muong Thanh Group, noted that the service industry has encountered many obstacles throughout the history of its operation, not least over the past two years.

During the seminar, the Board of Directors of member units of Muong Thanh Group had the opportunity to exchange information and share experiences with leading experts in the industry, thereby establishing the most effective business development solutions for the year to come.
