Over the past two years, Vietnam's stock market has attracted many new investors, bringing the total number of securities accounts to more than 6.3 million.

This is considered the driving force for the stock market to boom in the next three to five years as foreign investment continues to flow into Vietnam. Therefore, securities companies are making great efforts to catch this opportunity. With the technology boom and digital customer experience a global trend, securities companies are investing in advanced technology solutions to bring the best experiences for customers.

In anticipation of this, from 2021, Rong Viet Securities has devised the strategy "Building the foundation - Taking the future," with a focus on building a financial and investment ecosystem for Vietnamese businesses and investors by creating and providing effective solutions, financial tools, and investment products that yield the best results.

To expedite this strategy, on September 19, 2022, Rong Viet Securities cooperated with KPMG Vietnam to digitally transform CRM technology. This project is executed on Microsoft Dynamics 365 technology to optimise the existing operating system, increase the optimal customer experience, and build a new platform and business model for Rong Viet Securities.

Nguyen Mien Tuan, chairman of Rong Viet Securities Corporation said, "In the development strategy of Rong Viet Securities until 2030, the Board of Directors will focus on the comprehensive digital transformation of the company. Through consultancy with partners Rong Viet Securities, we have identified more than 26 strategic initiatives related to digital transformation. While CRM is important in the finance and banking industries, it is not widely applied to many securities companies.”

He added that Rong Viet is expected to be one of the pioneers in implementing CRM systems. This is also a key project in building a solid foundation for a powerful digital transformation that can help the company capture and create a future that serves its customers well.

Rong Viet Securities's Board of Directors expects that the CRM system will help multi-dimensionally synthesise customer data to enhance customer experience and improve services to achieve business efficiency, increase work performance, quickly adapt to market fluctuations and improve management capacity.

Currently, the demand for customer service is increasing with higher expectations for speed, convenience and synchronous service, especially with the rapid pace of change in the securities sector. This requires securities businesses to have an intelligent technology system to help operate, manage, exploit and improve the customer experience.

The Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM - Customer Relationship Management platform application project will enable Rong Viet Securities with a centralised customer database, and 360-degree customer portraits from which information and services to be tailored to customer needs to increase satisfaction, interactions, and transaction volume.

Moreover, the CRM system will help standardise the process chain throughout the customer experience journey of attracting, reaching, converting, caring for, and nurturing customers. Then, the customer experience across all touchpoints can be optimised, bringing a competitive advantage to Rong Viet Securities.

With in-depth experience in consulting projects, building management systems and developing CRM technology at many securities companies in Vietnam, KPMG Vietnam is trusted and selected as a reliable and professional partner to assist with operational goals and building the foundation for the effective digital transformation of the securities industry.
