"It is a great pleasure to host this anniversary celebration. 30 years of Roche Pharma in Vietnam is an important milestone. Founded in Switzerland in 1896 as a manufacturer of branded medicines, Roche has grown into the world’s largest biotechnology company and the global leader in in-vitro diagnostics. Roche’s pharmaceutical branch has been present in Vietnam since the establishment of its representative office in 1994. In 2019, Roche was converted into a wholly owned company, underscoring its long-term commitment to Vietnam’s healthcare industry.

Over the past three decades, Roche Pharma Vietnam has worked with the healthcare system in caring for, protecting, and improving health. Through various partnerships, hundreds of training, coaching, and capacity-building programmes have been implemented for more than a thousand healthcare professionals. Information from awareness-raising initiatives about diseases, early diagnosis, and effective treatment has also reached tens of millions of people.
