In second and third places were the HCM City Securities Corporation and Viet Capital Securities JSC with 10.54 per cent and 8.19 per cent shares.
Techcom Securities JSC was the largest bond broker with an 82.4 per cent market share, followed by Vietcombank Securities Co., Ltd (5.21 per cent) and Petro Vietnam Securities Incorporated (3.52 per cent).

The total market capitalisation on HOSE as of December 31 was VND3,280 trillion (US$142 billion), a year-on-year increase of 14.05 per cent and worth nearly 60 per cent of the country’s GDP in 2018.
Last year foreign investors were net buyers to the tune of VND6.62 trillion. Their total trading topped VND318 trillion, or nearly 16 per cent of the total value of transactions.
Covered warrants, which began to be traded on June 28, received much attention from both issuers and investors last year.
There are now 61 covered warrant codes, with their total trading reaching 181.4 million last year worth more than VND508 billion.
There are 382 stocks, three closed-end funds, two exchange-traded funds, 37 covered warrants, and 44 bonds listed on HOSE.
