The airline has opened ticket sales for its regular nonstop Hanoi-Gatwick service on all distribution channels since July 8, with the first flights to be commenced from October 29.

The airline will operate the modern wide-body Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner on this commercial route which only takes about 12 hours, thus helping passengers to save costs and time compared to transit flights.

On this occasion, Bamboo Airways offers tickets for its new service from only $368 as a tribute to its customers. Passengers can book tickets via all online channels or ticket offices and agencies of Bamboo Airways globally.

“The nonstop Hanoi-Gatwick route is Bamboo Airways’ next effort in serving the UK market and Europe,” said Hoang Ngoc Thach, deputy chief commercial officer of Bamboo Airways.

“We hope that a sense of hospitality and our international 5-star services bearing Vietnam’s footprint will win European passengers’ hearts,” Thach added.

Adding to its network expansion, the airline has constantly upgraded its service quality to optimise passengers’ experiences.

In addition, Bamboo Airways is gearing up and finalising procedures to soon commence its second regular nonstop service to Gatwick connecting Ho Chi Minh City.

Jonathan Pollard, chief commercial officer at Gatwick Airport said, “The arrival of Bamboo Airways at Gatwick provides a very welcome addition to our operation. In the past 10 months, we have been able to significantly grow our connections across North America, so to also be able to expand our routes across Asia is fantastic news for both leisure travelers and business passengers throughout London and the Southeast.”

Pollard added, “Vietnam is a wonderful country, offering a wealth of beautiful sights including stunning beaches, national parks, temples and vibrant streets and night markets, so we are delighted that Gatwick passengers can now connect to its capital city and beyond so easily, via Bamboo’s excellent network.”

Expanding the European network

Located in West Sussex, Gatwick Airport is the UK’s second-largest international airport and Europe’s ninth-busiest one. This is an ideal destination for many international flights to Europe.

Gatwick is linked to over 100 UK cities and towns, with direct coach and bus services and other means of transport.

Bamboo Airways’ nonstop Hanoi-Gatwick service follows a series of commercial routes to Europe such as Frankfurt and Heathrow from the beginning of this year.

In 2022, the airline targets an expansive network of 40 international routes including many services to European airports.
