The ceremony is consecutively held on April 15 in Hanoi and April 16 in Ho Chi Minh City. These new members are a part of the vibrant ACCA community globally which now consists of more than 162,000 members in 173 countries.
This celebration evening is also a useful networking opportunity for members to meet other fellow members and renowned employers at the event. The ceremony is graced by the presence of many distinguished guests who represented the government authorities, local bodies, leading organisations and top employers in Vietnam
Martin Turner, president, ACCA Global, in his address formally welcomes the newly inducted ACCA members and reminds them that becoming a member of ACCA means that they are fully supported by a professional accountancy body with global reach, that fully understands the important roles accountants play in both the private and public sectors, and seeks to provide members with access to resources, which will ensure that they can reap the full benefits of this exciting profession.

In this way, we strive to be always on the pulse of what is happening globally and in doing so, ensure that you have the tools to become visionaries and leaders within your respective companies,” he said.
The warm welcome is well received by the new members many of whom were appreciative of the support and encouragement and expressed excitement about their futures as ACCA members.
On this special occasion, ACCA Vietnam presents Global and National Approved Employers’ certifications to State Audit of Vietnam, Bel Vietnam, DHL Supply Chain, Liberty Insurance Vietnam, and Maersk Vietnam - who through accredited learning and development systems, support the development of ACCA professionals. This means that Approved Employers’ finance and accounting employees who are registered as students with ACCA will receive valuable support to help them successfully complete the ACCA examinations and gain practical experience that enables them to acquire the range of competencies required of finance and accounting professionals in business today.
